A Pig Called “Mai Dou” L. Y. Xing Class 1 Grade 2.
Mai Dou is a foolish pig but he is friendly however and tries to be helpful. He loves his mother a real lot. At school he has many friends. For instance A May. (A crows name)
One Morning.
Mai Dou: Oh I got an “A” in this exam! I’m so excited.
A May: No Mai Dou it isn’t an “A” it’s a “H”
Mai Dou: Oh, that’s a pity. I would much prefer an “A”
A May: Look at your paper. It’s so dirty!
Mai Dou: But I don’t have a rubber that’s suitable to clean it with.
A May: Why don’t you use the rubber that I sent to you for a present?
Mai Dou: Because it is very white. If I use it will get dirty; I’m looking after it as it is such a nice present.
At Home.
Mother: Oh, you got a “H”
Mai Dou: Such a pity, huh?
Mother: I’m so, so sad Mai Dou!
That Night
Mai Dou sits at his study desk all alone. No one is in the living room with him. “I want to get an “A” he says to himself. I don’t want to see my mother sad so I’ll study super hard. Banana – b-a-n-a-n-a, banana, b-a-n-n-a. If I can’t get an “A” then I won’t eat my favorite chicken soup.” Mai Dou says all this to himself.
This is my pet pig Mai Dou. He isn’t clever but he is very thoughtful to his mother. I shouldn’t have sent him to Yancheng Middle School as the standard is too high for him.
