She was a girl, yep, just another girl. 她是个女孩，是的，只是一个女孩。However girls are not in over supply like boys here in China. （但是在中国女孩没有男孩多）Therefore being just a girl is better than being just a boy. （因此做女孩比男孩好得多）Yu, that was her name, loved skating and was good at it. （YU，那是她的名字，她爱滑冰并且擅长于它）
One day as Yu was skating along the street she saw a boy. （一天Yu沿着街道溜冰她看到了一个男孩）The boy was a punk. His name was Ning. （这个男孩是朋友。他的名字是Ning）Ning said to Yu, “Would you like to be my girlfriend? （Ning对Yu说你愿意做我的女朋友吗）I like skating like you do!” （我也喜欢溜冰）Yu’s face turned red and then she yelled at Ning! （Yu的脸变红了并且对他大叫）“Go away punk boy. Leave me alone!” （快滚讨厌的男孩，离我远点）To Yu’ surprise, Ning said that he was sorry and then left. （令Yu惊讶的是你说声对不起就离开了）
The truth was that the boy really loved Yu.（事实上那个男孩确实喜欢Yu） He had been watching her skate from a distance away for some time.（他在远处观看她溜冰已经有一段时间了） The crazy part however was that the girl loved Ning and wanted his love.（然而故事疯狂的部份是姑娘爱Ning希望得到他的爱）
One evening Ning decided to try one last time to win his true loves heart.（一天晚上Ning决定最后一次赢得他的真爱） He knew that Yu lived on a second floor apartment so he took his classical guitar to serenade Yu to win her love. （他知道于住在二楼的公寓住于是他拿着古典吉他向她弹小夜曲赢得她的爱）Ning stood below the balcony of the apartment that Yu lived in and started to sing. （Ning站在Yu阳台的下面并开始唱歌）He started singing, “For you are not alone” “I’m here with you” “Whisper the words and I’ll come running…” 他开始唱歌，“因为你并不孤单”，“我与你同在”的“小声说我一直追你…” Yu couldn’t stop herself from softly crying. Yu无法控制自己轻轻地哭泣）She ran out from her apartment, down the stairs and into Ning’s free arm as he was holding his guitar still in his other hand.（她跑出公寓下楼来到Ning的公寓并拉着他的膀子，Ning另一个膀子还在拿着吉他）
So after a period of courting they got married.（于是一段时期后他们结婚了） Ning tell Yu everyday of how much he loves her.（Ning每天都告诉Yu他是如何地爱她） Yu is very happy but has a fat tummy as she is now pregnant.（Yu很幸福但是她现在是大肚子了她怀孕了） They live in a big house with a large garden by the seaside. （他们住在海边的一个带有花园的房子）Ning you see is a famous Punk singer like Boy George was but he isn’t strange like Boy George was. Nowadays Yu sings with Ning on stage. （Ning现在和George男孩一样出名了，但是不像George男孩古怪。如今YU和Ning在同一个舞台唱歌）
So if you use a musical instrument and sing really, really good and look great then you too perhaps can become famous and live by the seaside. （所以如果你会弹一种乐器并且歌唱的很好听，长得也很好看那么你也可能出名并且可以住在海边）
