A Story About Bingo A Dog In China

A Story About Bingo A Dog In China. By Estelle J2 Second Year

Bingo: Hi humans! I’m a super cute female dog. My name is Miss Bingo. My owner is cute like me also but she’s a human of course. Her name is Estelle. She tries to be like Shizuka her comic hero so she studies very hard. She takes lots of baths also, which means that she is very clean. Luckily she hasn’t found a stupid boyfriend yet. Anyway here is what happened to me over the May holidays.

…………………………………………………………………………………………….

1. Doraemon: Hello Bingo. Do you know who I am?

2. Bingo: Wow, let me think! Um, a nice robot boy cat without ears! I know you’re Doraemon from Japan. Estelle my owner watches you all the time on the TV inside our home.

3. Doraemon: Yes, you’re right I’m Doraemon. The rats back in Japan ate my ears off a long time ago. My battery was off at the time so I was asleep so I didn’t feel them eating my ears off. I hate rats and mice now.

4. Bingo: Gee, how do you know my name?

5. Doraemon: Estelle sent me a fan card with your photo in it. She wrote a lot about you saying how nice you were. I thought that you would make a good Chinese friend for me.

So here I am. Would you like to be my friend?

6. Bingo: Gee, of course I’d love to be your friend.

7. Doraemon: Great as I’ve got the May holidays off as Nobita will be staying with Dekisugi at his place. I hope he learns something off Dekisugi. He is so hard to teach anything too.

8. Bingo: Wow, three days together. What shall we do together?

9. Doraemon: Well I was thinking that we could visit different places here in China as I haven’t been here before. Where would be good places to go Bingo?

10. Bingo: How will we get about, you know visit these places Doraemon?

11. Doraemon. I have my Dokodemo- doa everywhere door in my pocket here.  So we can be anywhere instantly (straight away). I also bought plenty of Japanese yen with me to spend. We can change it into RMB at one of your banks here in China.

12. Bingo: He, he lets go to the bank then.

13. Doraemon: Okay here is my go anywhere door so let’s open the door and get inside the bank.

14. Bank teller 1: Ah, How did you get into the bank?

15. Bank teller 2: Oh, look it’s Doraemon! Hi Doraemon come over here I’ll help you.

16. Bank teller 1: You know him?

17. Bank teller 2: Of course he’s my favorite cartoon cat. He’s from Japan. Who are you but?

18. Bingo: I’m bingo Doraemon’s best Chinese friend? Doraemon and I are going to travel about China for these May holidays sightseeing.

19. Doraemon: Yes, we are going to have lots of fun together. Can I change 500,000 yen please? That should give us about 35,000 RMB right?

20. Bank teller 2: Wow that’s a lot of money.

21. Doraemon. Well we want to stay in the best hotels and enjoy room service. I also want to eat lots of dorayaki which is sweet bean paste sandwiches between small pancakes.

22. Bingo: I’d like a good rub down each evening. I love having my hair combed.

23. Bank teller 2: Well here is all your money and I hope you have a good time together.

24. Bank teller I: Where did they go?

25. Bank teller 2: Oh, didn’t you see them go through Doraemon’s “Go Anywhere Door?” They could even be in Tibet now.

26. Bank teller 2: It’s just as well they’re not bank robbers.

27. Doraemon: Wow, wow, wow, this place is fantastic Bingo.

28. Bingo: Yes many say it’s the eight wonder of the world. I’ve seen a lot of pictures of it on Estelle’s computer at home. She lets me use her computer while she’s at school. I’ve always wanted to come here to Xian in Shaanxi Province to see the Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses and other great stuff.

29. Doraemon: Qin Shi Huang took over the thrown when he was thirteen and that he later became the first Emperor of China it says here. Wow that’s two thousand two hundred and fifty years ago.

30. Bingo: Yep it all lay hidden under the soil until 1974 when some farming people started finding some stuff and took it to the village team leader who then informed government leaders. When we finish looking here we can spend tonight at the Golden Flower Hotel and go to see The Forbidden City in Beijing tomorrow. On Sunday we can go to the Summer Palace also in Beijing.

31. Doraemon: Gee, it sounds exciting. Who used to live in the Forbidden City Bingo?

32. Bingo: All together it has been the home of twenty four Emperors. Fourteen lived there in the Ming Dynasty and the other ten lived there in the Qing Dynasty. The last Emperor named Puyi lived there up until 1924. Currently a sixteen year restoration is being done to fix up everything to look the same as it used to look prior to 1912.

33. Doraemon: Wow, you have a great history. What about the Summer Palace?

34. Bingo: Well the history of the Summer Palace goes back to the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234) In 1888 the Dowager Empress restored the grand gardens there and she called  them the Garden Of Peace and Harmony. It is full of traditional Chinese style gardens. It is beautiful to walk about in many of my dog friends say.

                         Sunday Evening.

35. Doraemon: Well I’ve had a great time here in China Bingo. How would you like to come to Japan for a week and meet all my friends? I can bring you back to China at the end of the week.

36. Bingo: Whoopee, I’d love to go and meet your friends in Japan.

37. Doraemon: You’ll have to get used to Nobita’s mother yelling all the time. Nobita’s parents both get angry with him actually. He is one dumb kid.

38. Bingo: Is your little sister Dorami visiting at the moment Doraemon?

39. Doraemon: No she is in the 22nd century currently as I don’t need her help at the moment. She is one smart little sister. We can use my time machine which is located in my desk drawer in Japan. Would you like to visit the 22nd century and meet her?

40. Bingo: Supper, I’d love too! Gee, 200 years into the future. I’d have so much to tell

 Estelle when I get back.

Bingo was written by one of my shy girl students. The other students enjoyed it greatly. I asked my students to continue the story by writting about what Bingo told his girl owner about his trip to Japan and into the 22 century or write a new story.

  5. My wife and i were absolutely more than happy when Peter managed to carry out his survey through the entire ideas he was given using your blog. It is now and again perplexing to just be giving away tips and tricks people today could have been selling. So we fully grasp we have got the writer to thank because of that. The illustrations you’ve made, the simple site menu, the friendships your site make it easier to create – it’s many spectacular, and it’s making our son and us feel that the article is exciting, which is especially mandatory. Thanks for everything!

Most English teachers here in China teach for 16 to 25 on hour classes a week. I can even go to my apartment between classes. The more interesting you make it for your students the better they behave. So I have a fairly good time at work.
