How To Choose A Good Barber. By Britannia. Class 1 Grade 8
Ning went to a barber shop one day to get his hair cut. When he came out from the barber shop a girl pointed her finger at his head and started to laugh, he, he, he then her friend who was another girl started to laugh also. Soon many people were gathered around Ning laughing at his funny haircut.
After Ning got away from the crowd of laughing people he ran to his friend’s house that was nearby. When his friend answered the door he also stated to laugh! “It can’t be that funny surely!” Ning said to his friend. Kong, Ning’s friend showed Ning to a large mirror on his wife’s dressing table. Ning took one look in the mirror and screamed, Ahhhh……
“Oh no, this is terrible Kong! What can I do?” “Well mate (friend) it’s a bit late now isn’t it? Look you will have to go to another barber and get a very short haircut. You might end up having to wear a wig for a while, when you are working at the office where you are employed however! You must have picked the world’s worst barber!” “How about taking me to where you get your hair cut mate?” Ning asked his friend.
So Ning went with his friend to another barber to get a crew cut which is a name for short haircut. The barbers at the place where Kong got his hair cut were all very sympathetic towards Ning after about ten minutes, when they had stopped laughing at Ning’s hair.
Poor Ning had to have nearly all his hair cut back after having the previous terrible hair cut. The barbers told Ning of a good place to buy a wig. Ning asked his friend to go with him to select a wig. It turned out quite expensive to get a good wig but at least Ning looked normal again.
Of course Ning was now very scared of getting another bad haircut. He talked over the problem with his friend. Kong told him that the best way is to go to a busy barber shop and sit down and watch the barbers cutting other people’s hair and to select a good one that way. Ning’s friend also told him that he should also pay attention to the barbers own haircuts. If a barber has a bad haircut them that meant that one of the other barbers couldn’t cut hair very well. So it’s better to get your hair cut buy the barber with the bad hair cut if you haven’t got time to watch and select a good barber.
